Hi Experts,

I have a requirement to deploy a directory server (equivalent for MS-Active Directory) on Ubuntu and manage users/security in my production server farm. (Ubuntu 12.04 Servers)

I would prefer if I have a GUI to manage users. (may be logging to the directory server)

What are the recommendations for this ?  Also I have existing MS Active Directory in this same environment, is it advisable to use the windows AD ?

Please advise !

    Depends on what you need.
Will you have shell services and passwors authentication ONLY everywhere - ok zentyal.

Not in my case - we dont have interactive users almost at all, so we use puppet (hint - it can add SSH authorizrd keys for admins)
