Macro Parse Error - Needs rectifying

Attached is a master utility an expert has built for me to speed up modifying original source report data into a usable form. The button named ' import and parse purchase order status report' is used to parse weekly spend reports showing weekly spend by supplier.

I have had no problems with it until recently. For some reason the attached txt. file '30.06.14.txt.' is failing when importing it into the utility.

Can anyone tell me why or even better fix the error?(I have know macro or code writing experience!) I have attached two other weekly spend txt. files that work correctly so you know what the end result should look like

Thanks
Rob

before going in details do you mean to say that both txt files attached
weeklyspend07.07.14.txt
weeklyspend23.06.14.txt

gives correct import whereas
30.06.14.txt

performs wrongly ?

also noticed that

30.06.14.txt

has no data is this normal just header but no real orders with data and presume this is the reason why macro didn't perform correctly as provision not taken into consideration that a file will have no orders.

Do you need to account for this situation ?? Again I have not looked at the code this is a first quick evaluation of your question

Apologies, I've made a stupid mistake here!

Thank-you for pointing this out to me.

I in putted the wrong range of dates at the initial reporting stage which is why there are no figures

All attached files produce the same result, runtime error 1004 on the "ActiveSheet.ShowAllData" line .

Apologies, that was not my intention. I wanted to reduce the weighting of the award purely because the outcome was alto simpler than I'd anticipated. I'm happy to resubmit my answer if its possible?

No no need but just note for the future that when you do this this reflect how the Expert gave you a solution if you are not satisfied at all you would rate a C if you had delays in answering and the Expert did not understand what you wanted and kept on asking the same questions over and over when you first had given the correct status of the problem this is where you evaluate how to rate the question. Usually when the answer is prompt and the Expert has pointed you to the solution and you are happy with the answer then I believe there is no reason why not rate an 'A'

At the end this is purely subjective and comes back to each one's own judgment.

In this case don't worry, I am glad that you are happy that I pointed you to the direction to correct the problem and have no problem with the rating.
