Hi, I am using Microsoft Deployment Workbench to deploy windows x64 , office 2010 and some applications, now to have a checklist to tick which applications can be deployed and which cant, i have followed this link, http://c-nergy.be/blog/?p=3966
now i get the checklist in the start, i can tick it off or on, but even though i check something off, it still gets installed? why? i am ticking office 2010 off, but it still gets installed.....
None of the applications have been made mandatory....

It depends how you have setup the task sequence and any options set in customsettings.ini. What does your task sequence look like?

i fixed it, i have to define it in customssettings.xml file, under settings.

ApplicationInstallation needs to be define under settings (CustomeSettings.xml).
