Switch off tooltips in Excel

Does anyone know how to switch off tooltips in Excel? Although they can be helpful when highlighting data it can obstruct rows below:-
Tooltip
I've read a few forums which suggest that you can setup a hyperlink or comment to null which switches it off, however doesnt seem to work.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

It would appear that the only type of tooltips that CANNOT be turned off, are those on the ribbon.
