Acronis Recover Error

Hey all,

I have 2 HP Prodesk 600 G1 SFF systems currently and i wanted to clone one system to the other.. now i installed Acronis True Image 2014 on the system i wanted to clone/backup and proceeded to make a copy..

After this was done i made a boot media CD to boot up the machine..

I put in the CD and booted the system, everything was working fine, i could even find the backup file on the network and proceeded to start the recovery.

All went smoothly but when the recovery was done and the system restarted i am getting a message..

"Remove disk or other media
press any key to restart"

Now i removed the disk and even chose to boot from the recently recovered drive and still the same error..

Any ideas?

Boot the machine from recovery cd of Acronis and check if the partition that contains the BootMGR and boot folder is set active. Normally it is 100MB partition for Win7 and 2008 OS.

ASKER

Hi noxcho, how do u check that from the acronis boot media?
The older versions of Acronis have had some gui under Recovery CD. Where you could see the drives and partitions. Does yours have the same?
