Sage Payroll

We have Sage Payroll company files installed on a domain share. On all domain joined PCs except one users can use Sage 50 Payroll to generate reports, but on the one PC it is not possible to generate the same reports unless logged in as an administrator.

I have talked to Sage who say that the user should be granted administrator privileges, which clearly is nonsense,
- 1. because that is not the case on the working pcs.
- 2. granting admin permissions in this way would compromise the server.

Any ideas.

Many Thanks.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do the users on the other PCs have local admin rights? I suspect this is what Sage is meaning, not login with a domain administrator account but log in with a local administrator account for the PC itself.
