Unable to rename pdf files on shared network drive

One of my users is unable to rename pdf files on our shared network drive.  She can rename files of any other type on the drive but gets "Access Denied" if she tries renaming a pdf file.  Any idea what is causing the issue?  Her coworkers can rename pdf files without issue and they have the same access rights to the files.

Thanks!

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does the user have the 'preview pane' enabled in explorer which shows a picture of the document she's looking at?  If so, try disabling that feature.
