OUTLOOK 2010 - How can I tell who sent a message from a shared mailbox
I tried looking at the header of the message; but, it only had the same information - ie the shared mailbox name. This is an EXCHANGE 2012 shop - so no useful IP info was in the header.
I think this is exactly what you're looking for: http://exchangeserverpro.com/using-exchange-server-mailbox-audit-logs-find-sender-email-shared-mailbox/
ASKER
that does look like a direct hit -
but
audit logs weren't turned on
and
I'm not empowered to be an exchange admin anyway.
I was hoping something would be in the HTML in the message, hidden like some of the MS word meta data
