i have a laptop that when the user login the background is black and he cannot change to any windows desktop background under the Display! By the way, this user has "domain user" and Authenticated user" rights. When login as a domain administrator the change to desktop display works.

Can someone tell me what it wrong with it?

Thanks a lot!

Could be a group policy that prohibits changing background.

I just need a default Blue background and right now it is just black . Everyone else's laptop has default blue background.

The other user logged in this laptop and the background is blue. It is fine. Just that particular user.

Could be corrupted profile, which would mean backup user info, delete, login. Easy way to test this is have that user log into another system and see if everything is correct.
