Itunes iPhone 5s big issue with synce, lost notes.
I backed up my phone last night. About two weeks ago I had to reinstall Outlook so it was a fresh copy. When my phone synced I lost all of my notes except for a few that were recently added.
I have a lot of very important notes to me and I have no idea why it screwed up the data on my phone, the settings are the same as always and every time I previously synced my phone it updated the notes in outlook not wipe out what was on my phone.
The other problem is when I look at the available backups the one yesterday is the only one that showed in the list so I can't restore and get the notes and then restore last nights backup.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can get my notes back? How can something like this happen, when I plugged my phone in it auto synced just like always and nothing has changed. I don't know why it would delete most of my notes on my phone. This is so frustrating.
PS. All of my calendar appointments were also destroyed. I don't understand what caused this to happen. The only thing different is I reinstalled Outlook on my PC. I don't understand why the backup last night is the only one, it has been a month or two since backing up but why is there only one backup.

Unfortunately I don't backup that part of my HDD. I don't have iCloud setup.

Thanks got it working through a combination of methods to restore the data.
Is it possible that you have older backups stored on iCloud rather than on your PC?
