Using AutoCAD LT 2014, it repeatedly only accepts the first letter of a command typed in.

Ex:
Want to copy, so I type CO and I get Circle, command C
I want to break, type BR and get B for block.
PLOT or PL gives only P for pan.
DI for dimension gives D for dimstyle.

Short of uninstalling and re-installing, what else can we try?

Have you tried disabling dynamic input?

Also, under "Input Search Options", you can increase the delay time, which might help.

The user only works with dynamic input disabled.

He did change the input search to 1000 milliseconds, and will see if that makes a difference.

Input search option fix only worked for 2 days. No matter what he increases it to, he still has the issue.
