Microsoft word 2007 takes almost 6 seconds opening 100kb size in windows server 2012 but opens the same file in less than 3 seconds on windows server 2003.

windows server 2012 contains 32GB memory
windows server 2003 contains 4GB memory

Not sure why this is happening, was wondering if anyone has come across this issue.

Has anyone had experience with Office 2007 running slower on 2012 TS compared to 2003? I am wondering if Office 2007 is somehow not optimised for the newer OS?

Or perhaps I need to tweak MS Office or the TS somehow?
