errormessagenumber.com virus

My PC seems to be infected with 'errormessagenumber.com'  Can anybody help me get rid of this?
I have Win7 Home Premium running Norton 360 and SuperAntiSpyware?  Not sure how I got infected.  (I did install a few 'giveawayoftheday' programs recently.
Thanks for your help

I have not heard of such a virus.  Have you looked in Control Panel|Programs and Features to see if it exists there?  If so you can uninstall it from there.

However, can you post a screenshot of the error message?  Is errormessagenumber.com  what it says or is there a number in place of the word "number"?

Junkware Removal Tool is also a good program to clean out unwanted Ad-Ware.

You can also scan and fix redirect issues with RogueKiller.

I tried to run ADW Cleaner but Norton said it was virus and deleted it before it ran???  Did I DL a rouge copy or does Norton not like competition?   I tried to go to website of owner?  I keep getting hijacks in between every other entry.  Dang!  I'll try some of the other programs suggested.

I had to download AdwCleaner on my other PC and run from USB stick.  When I tried to download from (what appeared to be) the manufacture site Norton would flag as virus and erase it.  It ran fine from USB and appears to have cleaned the issues.  Thank You
