CTR = number of clicks / number of exposures.

Are you using any ad platform, or do you want to measure your own metrics?

Hi, yes I want to measure my own metrics using an auto blog that directs users to the destination site. For example, werd.com

For example, every time someone click on my auto blog, it will redirect them to the original site where it was posted.

When someone clicks on your redirector, you should log and count the click. I am now going to explain on a high level how to get the number of eposures.

Option 1: the page viewed is generated by your application, and it is not a static html page.
This is a simple case. Your application code knows what it displayed and can log and count the exposures.

Option 2: You don't have applicative control (not your app or static page).
There are 2 ways to count your exposures.
* Search the access log - only good if it is your web server.
* Use tags that combine the display of redirection links on the client side with logging on the server side.
For example, you insert this html snippet into your page
<script src="adserver.yourdomain.com/adengine.php?src=customera&campaign=abcdefg"></script>
The php code logs and counts the view, and based on its parameters returns some javascript code.
The javascript code writes to the html the code for the link.
