we are in the process of having HA due to combination of issues  . One is in case of all the mail box lost due to external attack , human error or software issue  . I am not too sure we can recover the data from the other server due to the other server also get the  update immediately that changes . I hope other type of risk  will work with the HA . our exchange and AD on the hosted solution and hardware level protection with the VM ware  .

please share the exchange available option  to make the mail availability 24 X 7

One possible solution:
1. Multiple Active Directory domain controllers
2. Server Vritualisation e.g. VMware or Hyper-V with multiple hosts.
3. Two or more mailbox servers configured with their own storage and using Database Availability Groups
4. Two or more Client Access/Hub  Transport servers.
5. Good secure hardware firewalls to protect network access.
5. If possible, if you have a second data center, have 2nd servers located there in case of power failure, flood etc.

thanks .

3. Two or more mailbox servers configured with their own storage and using Database Availability Groups

our exchange server all the mails got empty . only information I can see from the logs is some request to move mail boxes . we lost all the data in the mail box and got empty one  . I am working on the reason to happen that issue .

on the same time looking at mail box level HA ? I hope in this incident will nor option than backup even if we the  3 rd  option  . Can we delay the syn operation to the other Database groups  ?

other thing is we are going with the recovery mail box or multiple mail box recovery  . is there any way we can restore the entire mail Box store rather individual or group level . I hope this will handle by the backup software ? what is the best on this

Yes, you can set up time delay syncs to other mailbox store copies using the powershell:

Set-MailboxDatabaseCopy store -ReplayLagTime d.hh:mm:ss -TruncationLagTime d.hh:mm:ss

where d.hh:mm:ss is the time delay in days.hours.mins.secs.

The ReplayLagTime parameter specifies the amount of time that the Microsoft Exchange Replication service should wait before replaying log files that have been copied to the passive database copy. Setting this parameter to a value greater than 0 creates a lagged database copy. The format for this parameter is (Days.Hours:Minutes:Seconds). The default setting for this value is 0 seconds. The maximum allowable setting for this value is 14 days. The minimum allowable setting is 0 seconds, although setting this value to 0 seconds effectively eliminates any delay in log replay activity.

The TruncationLagTime parameter specifies the amount of time that the Microsoft Exchange Replication service should wait before truncating log files that have replayed into the passive copy of the database. The time period begins after the log has been successfully replayed into the copy of the database. The format for this parameter is (Days.Hours:Minutes:Seconds). The maximum allowable setting for this value is 14 days. The minimum allowable setting is 0 seconds, although setting this value to 0 seconds effectively eliminates any delay in log truncation activity.
