Outlook 2007 Issue

I have a client with MS Outlook 2007 on one computer (Windows Vista). They are using a vanity domain and pop. In the last two weeks, they have not been able to send emails with attachment. The email just sits in the outbox. All non attachment emails send with out issue. Antivirus is Vipre Business (I have attempted to send attachment emails with Vipre started and stopped) no change.

Did the ISP change the ports from unsecured to secured?  That is a fairly common thing to happen.

Check the POP3 and SMTP addresses with the ISP Requirements.  Then go to the tab where PORTS are assigned and see if POP is 995/SSL and SMTP is 587 or 465 SSL or TLS. The ISP instructions will say.

I checked the ports they are set to 995/SSL and 465/TLS.

There are 5 other computers that are not experiencing issues. No changes to the ISP. The issue is only when attachments are present in the email.

Any other suggestions?

At this point, I would ask the ISP. There may be some restriction neither you nor I are aware of.

The issue was with Office2007. I had to uninstall and reinstall. Thank you all for your suggestions.
