I have a complex situation so I'll try to describe it as best I can.

We have a distribution group called sales@abc.com and the members are Alan, Bob, Charlie, David and Eddie
If an email comes to sales@abc.com, all members receive a copy.  So far so good.

If an email comes to sales@abc.com from north@xyz.com we want to stop this email arriving with Charlie and David but everyone else must get it.

Is this possible using transport rules in Exchange 2007 management console?

For such request, you may looking Exchange 2007 Transport rules. Look at "Sent to a member of distribution list" but i don't any action in transport which suitable your requirement to block email to reach 1 user while the rest can get the email.

The rule level in the transport rules wasn't granular enough so we ended up splitting the distribution groups and then using rules to forward everything to Charlie&David group unless it came from a particular domain
