Windows 2012 show disk I/O on new Dell PowerEdge R320 server

We bought a new Dell PowerEdge R320 server with 64G RAM, two disks are running mirror.

Installed Win2012 R2, I find the Disk I/O is so slow. 100% highest active time, with only 3-4MB/sec Disk I/O.

I have installed the latest Windows update, BIOS update and firmware update, but it is still the same result.

It's using the Dell PERC S110 controller, at the moment driver version is 3.2.0.8.

Its slow as the drive is maxed out on IOPS, what does Resouce Monitor show for disks activity, disk queue etc?

It could be the Virus checker doing its first full scan

It is a brand new OS-windows 2012, haven't even plug to network yet. wouldn't have any virus on it.

I used HD Tune to run for a disk test, only have 4.3M/s for the average reading rate.

Any other idea?

So what does the resource monitor say is using all the disk I/O (Screen Shot Please).

You need to look at not just MB/s but IOPS as well.

It's Dell's software RAID problem. I rang them and get refund.
