Maybe I am a dork but I can't turn on BitLocker for the OS (C:) hard drive. Here are the facts:<br />
&gt;I have a Windows 7 64 bit Pro computer<br />
&gt;I enter BitLocker in the search box<br />
&gt;I go to Manage Fine Encryption Certificates and create the certificate<br />
*BitLocker is not available &nbsp;when I right click on the OS hard drive<br />

How to use Microsoft BitLocker

Encryption is the process of encoding messages or information in such a way that only authorized parties can read it. In an encryption scheme, the intended communication information or message, referred to as plaintext, is encrypted using an encryption algorithm, generating ciphertext that can only be read if decrypted. For technical reasons, an encryption scheme usually uses a pseudo-random encryption key generated by an algorithm.
