How can I use BE to backup a Linux system.
I am running BE 2010 R3.
I cannot find the RALUS installation in the BE folders.
Where can I get a remote agent for Ubuntu 12.04?

I have not used BE in years, but then you could purchase remote agents from Symantec for Netware and Linux.
Have you purchased the remote client for Linux?

Backup Exec Remote Media Agent for Linux Server
Provides storage flexibility for Linux servers running in a Backup Exec environment. IT administrators can directly attach tape and disk storage devices to a remote Linux server, allowing backup data to be protected directly to those Linux attached storage devices. This provides added flexibility and reduced bandwidth requirements for backup jobs, especially for larger backups on those remote Linux servers.

Thanks. I am using BE because there does not appear to be any other product that can manage the Tandberg T24 tapelibrary. I have tried most of the Tandberg recommended software, but have not found one that can manage the library. Is there any software that can manage the T24/Magnum 224 tapelibrary?

Code4,
Please download the Hardware compatibility List for 2010 at:

I am sorry but I did not see your Tape in that list, perhaps I missed it.  I did not see it in the 2014 HCL either.
