I have a Windows Server 2012 and our Corp office does the back up for us using the software Avamar. This is a new server  and OS for me and I don't know how to get the Avamar software to see all the folders, it is only seeing a few folders. Example: the backup is showing only 7 folders and on the server there is 21 folders. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you running this software under specific user? It could ignore the folders which it does not have access to.

I believe they have one account and it has admin rights to all servers and information, but I think I will check on that.

Try to install and run this software under local system admin account.
