Quickbooks Backup

Hi all,

It has recently come to our attention that the only way one of our clients QuickBooks gets backed up is from the server backup every night.

The cloud backup we have installed would be ideal if the clients internet connection was not so poor.

It is an SBS2003 server (they won't move or upgrade a newer server).

QuickBooks cloud is pretty much out of the question because it has half the functionality than normal desktop QB.

We are contemplating scheduling a Robocopy to backup the .qbw and .tlg to another location, but we were wandering if anyone has had similar predicaments backing up QB and how you got round it.

Many Thanks

A server backup is the best way to back up QuickBooks.

I just back my own QuickBooks up to my other computer and to do that, I make sure QuickBooks is closed and copy the QBW and TLG files to the other computer. It works just fine and in your case that is what I would do.
