IIS5 webpage access denied.

I have a IIS5 web site running on a Windows 2003 box.  The authenticated access was setup by someone to have "Integrated Windows Authentication" checked.  The server is a member server of another domain on the LAN.  

Right now, I am getting a "access denied" when I hit the webpage.  I have already added the domain users group of my domain to the local users group of that server but it does not seem to help.

Please advise.

The most likely cause of that I've seen is that your browser isn't passing your AD login credentials through to IIS, so Integrated Security isn't working.

In your Internet Explorer internet options, go into the Security tab, select Local intranet and then click Sites and Advanced. Add the website address you're trying to access to the list so it's seen as being part of your local intranet. In theory this should be detected automatically, but I normally find I have to add it.

Secondly, still in Internet Options, go to the Advanced tab and near the bottom of the list ensure that "Enable Integrated Windows Authentication" is checked.
