Hi!

I'm trying to do an ldap search for all users who are part of an OU called IT and Members Of a Security Group called PEMUsers.

The users are located here: OU=IT,OU=Users,OU=Ewing,OU=CU,DC=cunj,DC=local

The Security Group called PEMUsers is located: CN=PEMUsers,OU=Groups,OU=Ewing,OU=CU,DC=cunj,DC=local

I'm having trouble writing the filter to narrow down based on people being in the Security Group called PEMUsers.

I can use the first query to list all the users of the OU called IT which works well, But when I applied the filter below I yield no results.

I've tried:

memberOf=CN=PEMUsers,OU=IT,OU=Users,OU=Ewing,OU=CU,DC=cunj,DC=local

and

memberOf=CN=PEMUsers,OU=Groups,OU=Ewing,OU=CU,DC=cunj,DC=local

Any ideas?

You won't be able to do it using an LDAP query.  Would you be open to doing it via a script?

Thanks

Hi Mike -

Unfortunately, the software I'm using only allows me to run a command line for a search and a command line for a filter.

Is there any other way you can think of to find all members in a specific security group?  At this point I don't care what OU the user resides.

Thanks,

Mike!

My software had a limitation. I couldn't apply a detailed script which would have otherwise worked.
