How to make Public Calendar the default calendar in Outlook 2010

I have a client who's running windows 7 Pro with Outlook 2010 on SBS2008

They would like the ability to open Outlook and have the public calendar be the default calendar.
I already know that we cannot replace the Outlook calendar. We just want to find a way to default to the public folder calendar.

Is this possible?
And if so how would I do this?

You can't. Simple as that.
Outlook is a PIM, and therefore the default calendar can only be the Calendar folder in the mailbox. You cannot make the default anything else.

I am in the US. Would have liked to use you on other Exchange projects but it appears you cant accept work outside of the UK
