Trying to upgrade firmware through web browser and interface on printer and tried FF,IE and Chrome all with same results, which is it does nothing .

Tried a standalone program on laptop  using USB connection  and I get a PSU error.

Any ideas?

2 questions:

1. Is the firmware upgrade correct for your printer? Did you download it from Xerox, and is it a later version than the one installed in your printer?
2. What are you hoping to achieve with it? In my experience, f/w u/gs are usually a waste of time. Unless you have a bug that will be fixed, or some added feature that's important (very rare), I recommend against it.

Yes, they are the correct ones.

There is a bug in ldap and the email users are not being added correctly ,if at all, for the scanner.

Here's the post mortem.front panel had issues with touch screen,so tech came out to replace.
It appears he used a generic control panel from another Xerox machine ,so there was no alpha touch pad upon trying to login using touch screen because firmware was for another machine.
Had to reset admin pass to default numeric character so I could get into tools menu and turn on software upgrade on machine.
Had to reset machine twice to get it to work.
Browsers were a joke as FF and IE wouldn't upload firmware to machine.
Chrome finally worked ,but I had to upload twice after first one erred out.

There you go folks, another reason to quit the IT biz and sell oranges off of the 405 freeway on ramps.
