Open Searched E-mails (Windows Search)

When I search e-mails from : START > Search programs and files , and then click on See more results -

I CAN'T open the e-mails or see a preview of it from here.  Is there a way to have it open with Outlook?
(It just shows a list of e-mails - but can't do anything with them) -

Windows 7
Outlook 2010

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

A very simple answer might be:
Right click on the email, Send To, click on Outlook (or if Outlook is not in the list, browse to outlook.exe.).

But I am not sure of the situation.  What is the extension of these emails?  Were they originally saved from Outlook?  What does "from here" mean?  Is Outlook the default email program?

Will NOT let me right click on items searched.  Files show an Outlook 2013 icon.

If I understand correctly, that is not normal Windows Search behavior.

See what happens when you search using Everything.

If this started recently run a System Restore to a date before it started.

If no help, run a Repair Install.

This will not affect your personal data or installed programs.  A backup first is always a good idea.
