DHCP per VLAN Cisco 3750

Hey guys,

I need to run DHCP just for one of my vlans (voice) on my 3750G's. How do i do this?

Create a VLAN for the DHCP IP addresses you want to use.
Router(config)#Interface vlan 20
Router(config)#ip address y.y.y.y y.y.y.y
Router(config)#exit

Then create the DHCP pool on the switch and exclude some addresses.

Router(config)# ip dhcp pool mypool
Specify the network and subnet for the addresses you want to use from the pool.
Router(dhcp-config)# network 1.1.1.0 /8  
Specify the DNS domain name for the clients.
Router(dhcp-config)#domain-name mydomain.com
Specify the primary and secondary DNS servers.
Router(dhcp-config)#dns-server 1.1.1.10 1.1.1.11
Specify the default router (i.e., default gateway).
Router(dhcp-config)#default-router 1.1.1.1
Specify the lease duration for the addresses you're using from the pool.
Router(dhcp-config)#lease 7
Exit Pool Configuration Mode.
Router(dhcp-config)#exit
Router(config)#exit

Don't forget to use the "ip dhcp excluded-address 10.10.10.1 10.10.10.100" (for example) to block off part of the subnet if needed.

Unless your DCHP server is off on another broadcast domain, you won't need a helper-address command.
