Updating firmware on an ESXi IBM system with UpdateXpress

Has anyone able to do firmware update within UpdateXpress on ESXi? (Like Windows and Linux)

CIM providers have been installed.

I tried withUpdateXpress   but it craps out without any error messages.

We have 100+ IBM blades running ESX, currently we are using pre-boot iso (made from IBM Bomc) to update the blade firmware. This is a painful process because it is limited at one blade at a time  per chassis.

We've had no issues following the prerequisites from the support site.

what error message do you receive?

Hi,

UpdateXpress spawns a new window and exit.  I will capture it when I back in the office. (It is running 5.5)

This is what I have and I confirm the file is present.

We are using IBM Upward Integration since we have not figure out this issue.
