Wireless network stability

Hi to all, I'm looking for a software (windows based) to check network stability. I have "googled" and there are many solutions, I need an expert advise.
What program can help me?
Inssider and network stumbler ?

Thank you!

There's a really good article on troubleshooting wireless network issues that might help you (I strongly recommend the read!).

Additionally, you might consider an appliance like Air Magnet, because you can't troubleshoot all wifi issues from within Windows (the article explains why).

Good luck :)

Not so simple.. Inssider told me wireless without SSID and so on, but I cannot obtain the info I need.
To better explain: we have a complex infrastructure with cisco a.p. linked with wifi controller. Infrastructure is owned by the outsourcer, so I cannot check any configuration. I can only see that sometimes we lost connectivity, sometimes the signal, sometimes only layer 2 / 3 connectivity (ping is the simplest test i can do). Without moving, altought roaming is permitted and working.

Altought air magnet seems to be very complete I was looking for something more immediate, or a "how to" guide for inssider or network stumbler.

thank you!

Hi,

I think you need something like Kismet;

https://www.kismetwireless.net/

or may be Wireshark;
