I need your help in knowing a way to schedule automatic backup of the 4400 series Cisco WLCs' configuration.

This is what WCS is used for.

You might be able to script something like CatTools to do it though.

Is there no way without the WCS and cattools??

WCS is the way to go, but CatTools might do it if you don't have WCS.
