I want to export 1 or more images from a found set. I want to be able to have the user select the destination folder, then I start exporting each image (one image per record) to that destination selected by the user.

Also, if user is using an Ipad, is possible for the above situation to be handled the same as in FM pro desktop version?

FileMaker Pro can do everything that you want to do with the exception of selecting the location. To do that you'll need a plugin that prompts the user to select a location and returns the path to that location. Once you have the path, you can combine that with the image name and set it to a variable called, for example, $FilePath. Place that variable in the Export Destination part of the Export Records script step.

To actually capture the path, you'll need a plugin. The one I use is the Troi File Plugin ( http://www.troi.com/software/fileplugin.html ). Many other plugins also have this basic feature and you may be able to find one that is free. Troi File also have additional features related to Image management which you may find useful. I've not used it, but the free ScriptMaster plugin also has a "Choose Folder" function ( http://www.360works.com/scriptmaster/ )

FileMaker Go does not support plugins, so to script this on the iPad you'll need to export to a known, pre-determined location.
