Exchange Address Book on Android
Hi,
I have an issue i need to find a way of getting over somehow. I have 65 Android handsets, with 3CX Mobile Device Management. Each handset has its own Microsoft exchange mailbox which is all setup and working.
Due to staff changes being quick, i need an easy way of putting all 65 of the users contact details on the other phones (basically the GAL). However, the issue i'm facing is obviously if the phone rings, android doesn't such the GAL, and to view it, it always goes live to the server. I've read information about how you can change a users default contact book to be the gal, but i'm a bit wary. It just needs to be as simple and easy to manage as possible as once it's setup i'll be leaving it in the hands of the client.
