I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

From what I know, usually when you try copying text larger than a certain string length, you get that message but that's not the only reason you see that alert.

Increasing virtual memory is one solution but that may not even solve it.

One of the windows system files appears to be damaged.  Try running System File Checker.

Open cmd.exe with Run as Administrator and run SFC /SCANNOW. Allow to complete, run a second time and then restart the machine.

See if that helps.
