Issue Trying to get Veeam to backup vms on another domain..

I have 2 separate domains and I am trying to use Veeam to backup the vms on the second domain.
I can ping the ip from any servers on either domain but I cant get Veeam to connect to the vms so that it will back it up. Any ideas?

I think you have to create a trust relationship between the domains:

Are they both on the same physical network/host?  Is your license being exceeded by doing so?

They are on the same vm host but just on separate network but they can ping each other without any issues.
