I had a mac mini that had 2 monitors attached to it. &nbsp;An HDMI one and a another older monitor that I plugged into the video port. &nbsp;This worked fine. &nbsp;I was able to click on downloads and they would show up on the first main screen. &nbsp;I upgraded to a new mac mini 2 days ago. &nbsp;Both monitors work fine and I am using them as what I believe is extended display. &nbsp;But now when I download something or when I sometimes open a program it opens up on the other monitor that is extended. &nbsp;It probably is supposed to do this but I am wondering why my old mac mini would never open anything up on the 2nd monitor that is extended unless I dragged a window over to it. &nbsp;That is what I want the new mac mini and monitors to do.
