How do i publish an application as the default root website in IIS?
Hi,
I'm trying to change the Virtual Path of an Application in IIS7 to be the web root "/"
My Virtual Path and folder in the application is now "/wordpress"
I want the Virtual Path of the application to be: "/"
So the resultant url will change from www.myweb.org/wordpress to www.myweb.org/
When I go to the Advanced Settings the Virtual Path it is Greyed out & when creating a Virtual Path it doesn't let me add a slash. "/" - See attached pic.
I have tried changing the "Default Web Site" physical path and application pool but no luck.
We're using IIS7. This is a wordpress application.
How can I fix this problem? Thank you.
