verizon/pantech UML295 modem external antenna connection

I have a Pantech uml295 air card that I would like to connect an existing external antenna to.  I used this existing antenna to improve my old 3G signal, now we have only 4GLTE in our area.

The adapter that Verizon sells is supposed to connect the external antenna ports to a mini UHF coaxial connector.  The adapter connection to the UML295 external antenna ports doesn't even fit???   My external antenna has a type F male coaxial connector like those of TV cable, and won't connect to the mini UHF on the other Verizon adapter end.

I'm looking for an adapter that will connect the external antenna ports on the UML295 modem to the type F connector.

I'd also like to know what size/type of connection is on the UML295 modem.

Thank you
