Can't Install 2008 Terminal Service / Remote Desktop Service License from Enterprise Agreement

We have a Windows 2008 R2 license server. I have previously added Win 2008 TS/RDP User CALs to this server, purchased from our MS Enterprise Agreement. However, we've just purchased another 30, but can't seem to add them. The numbers provided in the license email, contain 8 numbers, but the TS license screen will only accept 7. So details we have (changed to protect actual license):
Agreement Number:                  50123456
Master Agreement Number:      E0654321
Business Agreement Number:      U5678901
License Agreement Type:            Corporate
Program:                              Enterprise 6

If I remove the leading characters (5, E or U) from any of the numbers, or select all the different license programs (select, open, enterprise etc) and try, I get the error:

The licensing agreement data provided to Microsoft is not valid. Check all the information you provided, make any necessary corrections, and then resubmit your request. If the problem persists, try using a different connection method.

We've spent 4hrs on the phone with Microsoft on this, and they were no help. Despite the licenses being issued by them (through Dell as a reseller), and us having server support, they couldn't help with the issue! I'm hoping someone here might be able to explain what the problem is!

Thanks for the link. I wll have to try to download the hotfix and apply it. When I try to download it now, I get an error:

"The system is currently unavailable. Please try back later, or contact support if you want immediate assistance."

Will try later, and accept the solution if it works.

Finally managed to download the hotfix from Microsoft, and installed it, and it resolves the issue! Many many thanks! Microsoft phone support didn't appear to know about this!
