Installing Local Filmaker Database On Ipad - FMGO

I have a local database on my desktop. I want to loaded into my Ipad using FMGO. It is just going to be a local copy of the database in the IPad.
What is the best way of doing this? I tried emailing it to my Ipad, but I got an error when I tried opening it.

Assuming you have FileMaker Go already installed on your iPad, the easiest way to do this is to use iTunes. This FileMaker KnowledgeBase article explains this and other ways to move files to the iPad and have them be accessible to open with FM Go:
