Problems with Blackberry users after new Exchange Mailbox Database Creation

Someone had created 2 new mailbox databases and moved users into those databases without running the Get-MailboxDatabase | Add-ADPermission -User "BESAdmin" -AccessRights ExtendedRight -ExtendedRights Receive-As, ms-Exch-Store-Admin     command.
I ran that command, but we are still seeing the following errors on our BES server:
event ID 20154    User  John Doe not started
event ID 2000 RIM_HrResolveProxysFromDN - ResolveNamesMAPI failed from -2147221233

Is there anything else we have to do to resolve this?

    Accepted Solution

The error usually means you don't have the permissions correct.

Have you checked BESADMIN has send as permissions as well?
How long after running the command did you wait before testing? Exchange caches the permissions, so it can take two hours or more before the permission is live.

I think you are right on this because I just got an email letting me know that it's working now.
