Apache, Wampserver and AD authentication

Here is what I'm working with:

Windows Domain (DC is Server 2008 R2 Standard)
Server 2008 running Apache 2.4.9 on Wampserver 2.5
New installation of Dokuwiki (whatever the latest release is, Weatherwax, I think)

The Goal:

Get Apache and Dokuwiki to authenticate with AD via LDAP.

The problem:

The long and short of it is, I can't do it.

Sorry, I've been searching and troubleshooting all day and I'm failing miserably.

I'm not a web developer and brand new to both Dokuwiki and WAMP/Apache, so please, if you have a solution, I'll need the "for dummies" version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
