Can you have unique pages appear for registered Joomla users?
I have a website I built in Joomla 2.5 that students use to access lesson information. Currently, when a student logs in, they have access to the pages of all the students. Is there a way to create pages only accessible (or viewable) to the student logging in?
For instance, I would like students to see a page that marks their progress that I could update.
Step 1. Student Logs in: John Doe
Step 2. Page appears: "Welcome back, Joe. You last completed lesson 6. Here are all the lessons you have completed. Click here to go on to lesson 7."
I have investigated some LMS's like Docebo, but they don't quite fit my needs and I would like to stay custom, if possible.
Any ideas? Thanks.

While this component does have some school-related functions, it is not for what I am describing.
