Connecting to webservices using .Net
I have access to .Net 3.5 ( VS2008 ) and will need to do a small application that will reside in the Windows server ( so it will be a Windows desktop application )'
I have created windows application but not web apps or connecting to web services.
Appreciate if someone can give me some tips to where to look for appropriate sample code.
I have heard that depending on the web service the technique of connecting and referencing are different. also there are apparently "restful/non-restuful web services" etc - that I need to be concerned about.
at the moment we do not have information what type of web service it is - so I need to learn some generic stuff to start with. Its a reputed company giving the web service so, I am expecting it to be newer technology.
