"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does your RDS configuration see the license server?? Also, what CAL's are you using? User or Device? And is this setup correctly?
Cliff GaliherCommented:
2012 does not automate license server discovery. You should use server manager to configure RDS, giving it the location of the license server and the licensing mode. The initial RDS role wizard does much of this for you if you used it to set up your RDS environment.

I've seen this twice - can't be certain you're experiencing the same things, but try this - open the Reg Key on the session host server HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM and if the ‘GracePeriod’ key exists, delete it.  Then reboot.
