Asp.net application is not working after url binding is done

Hi,

I have deployed Asp. net application on windows 2008 R2 server, iis 7.5.
I am able to access the application using ip address externally. As soon i remove ip and enter url in binding, login page comes up but cannot login.

SQL profiler shows that application is connecting to database, but on browser after login, same login page comes back as if its not connecting to database.

Please help.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Asp.net login works when debugging but not when deployed

as per your problem, i suppose the DNS is not matching the url name with the IP address.

try the below link
