How do I create Wordpress Member Page?  Meaning, I have a website but I want people to be able and signup as member.  When you are a member you have a visible page on my website.  You can upload your image and information about yourself or your company.  What plugins do I use?  What advice can you pass along to me.

I don't use a Membership plugin, but I have a WP site and if I needed one, this would be my starting point.

Give BuddyPress a look, it basically turns your WordPress site into a community with pages and forums, etc. Think of it like a Facebook for WordPress. It is free, and they make money on support and plugins  -

I'm also looking into membership add-ons - I've just bought "Private content" plugin , it gives a private page per user, and you can set up posts in categories and have the categories for only the members and I think you  can set up a category per member but I'm still looking into it.

I've used Joomla in the past and the Community Builder plugin for Joomla is brilliant
