Crystal Report Selection Formula Button

Is it possible to have a button on my VB form that modifies the crystal report selection formula (not the sql but the select expert filter formula)

All I really want is that when I click the button the following filter is applied :
{projects.stage} <> "Completed"
If I click it again : {projets.stage} = "Completed"

Is it possible?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How are you calling the reports?
The method and APIs used will control how you pass the formula.

You can pass a selection formula to the report.  When you change the formula you will have to refresh the report for the change to take effect.

One easy method would be to PUSH the data to the report from the application.  In that method the application has full control over the data passed

One of the 3rd-party Crystal Report Viewers listed at provides that functionality.
If a parameter that has only two possible values is placed on the report layout, each click on it flips it to the other value.
