JSON DataTable Style/Formatting

I have a datatable that I am working on...been going on for a long time...but making progress.  Still trying to tune the query because it is obnoxiously long.  In the interim I would like the table to fit on the page but in-line styles are not getting it done.  Here is the page in question, (it could take a minute or two to load).  Some of the table is not displaying because, I assume, there is an "overflow:hidden"?  Nonetheless, can I exert some control over this utility?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

For testing purposes, can you limit the output to the first 30?

select top 30 from....

Bob SchneiderCo-OwnerAuthor Commented:
Sure but the problem is it won't give us the 30 with the most points.  Here is a quicker one to load although it doesn't overflow the table as much.

Are you talking about the width?

 <table id="standings" class="display" cellspacing="0" style="width:800px;font-size: 0.8em;">

Open in new window

You can change the width to whatever you want.

Ok I'm not following.  It looks like I am accessing a remote style sheet, right?  How can I modify that?

You probably don't want to alter the built in style sheet. Create another style sheet.   Or see what happens when you try and remove it.
