VLAN tagged traffic not routing

we have a new netgear gs752tpsb. data is on the default network (10.231.157.).....we added a VoIP (10.10.3) vlan-tagid=2......untagged devices on the 10.10.3 network can get out to the internet....tagged devices can't get off of the switch.....

Is the switch performing intra-VLAN routing?  By default, a layer 2 switch will not route traffic between VLAN's.  If there are other switches on you network, the core switch may have intra-VLAN routing enabled, and it would need the new VLAN added to it, so it is aware of the new VLAN.

Did you configure the switch to do routing?

if untagged devices are working fine the routing side of things must be fine. as its only the tagged ones I'd guess theres an issue with the tagging side of things.
have you configured the devices to use the correct vlan tag to work with the tagged switch ports?

I've requested that this question be deleted for the following reason:

the problem was that devices not supporting VLAN tagging (PCs/PBX equipment) connected to the switch needed to have the tagging turned off for their specific port for them to reply to a ping request.  we also simplified the custom DHCP parameter 156 and removed the VLAN ID as the phones default to "2" anyway.

Glad you sorted it but not sure why you want to delete the q mate. I asked if the tagging was configured on the devices in response 40252137 and youve stated that was the issue so why delete?

The VoIP phones were tagged - and remain tagged - it was removing the tags from the devices (ports) that don't support the tags that resolved the problem....
